Aubrey Birch is a transdisciplinary artist & academic living between Rome & Allambie (IT/AU).

She works in various mediums, from writing to performance to film, centred around our bodies in the here-and-now and the deep time of those bodies. 

With academic foundations in philosophy, art history & chemistry, she has always worked to create immersive states that open the possibilites of thought and perception. Her artistic practice is both intensive and sensitive.

Her works, participations, and collaborations have been presented at and by institutions including KANAL - Centre Pompidou (BE), MaerzMusik (DE), Shedhalle (CH), rotor Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst (AT), Kunsthal Ghent (BE), ICA fig-2 (UK) with FOS, Theater Neumarkt (CH), kunstencentrum BUDA (BE), Kunsthaus Zürich (CH).
